Wooden Floor Lobby

Hardwood

Through advancements in finish technologies and superior construction techniques, manufacturers of hardwood floors are able to produce tougher finishes and more stable products. This means quality hardwood floors can go in almost any room in the home and over a wide variety of sub floors, including fully-cured concrete slabs. Although the end results may look the same, there are distinct advantages for using either a solid hardwood or an engineered hardwood for different applications.

Hardwoods today are moving more toward distressed planks, planks in wider widths, and exotic woods. Because of the wider widths, engineered hardwoods are beginning to become more popular in the market.

Our bright spacious showroom offers a wide selection of both Solid and Engineered Hardwoods to choose from; Preverco, Fuzion, Beaulieu, Twelve Oaks, Torlys, Northern Wide Plank. Hardwood floors are perfect for the homeowner who wants durability paired with a rustic country charm.

Dining Room

Solid Hardwood

hardwood flooring consists of a solid piece of hardwood cut into wood planks that are 3/4" thick. This type of flooring is available in a variety of widths, colors and finishes.

Kitchen

Engineered Hardwood

hardwood flooring consists of several plies of wood that are glued and laminated together to form a wood plank on which a hardwood veneer is put onto. These plies provide additional stability allowing engineered hardwoods to be stable in much wider widths than are available in a solid form.
